Key Takeaways

Their challenge:

Frederik wanted to use his LinkedIn profile to crowdsource his next startup idea.

Our approach

  • LinkedIn posts to generate traffic by introducing the competition and sharing Frederik’s thoughts on what makes for a strong business idea
  • A new series of posts once the competition ended to drive traffic to Frederik’s newest project

Outcome

At the start of Q1 2024, Frederik had no idea what his next company would be. Over the course of his idea competition, he received hundreds of suggestions, one of which prompted some inspiration of his own. That idea became his newest project, PausePoint.

What they say about us

"Notus nailed my positioning and in the first week since posting I generated over 150.000 impressions. The only problem I have left – I can't even keep up with all the people approaching me. [this is what we already have from him"
- Frederick Fleck

Their Challenge

Frederik is a serial entrepreneur who isn’t satisfied unless he has something to build. In late 2023, had everything he needed for his next project except the most important part: an idea. Believing his LinkedIn audience could give him the inspiration he needed, he came to notus with an unusual request: to help him run an idea competition, where the winner would become his newest company.

How we approached this

How we approached this: We made a series of posts promoting the idea competition and discussing the characteristics Frederik felt would make for the strongest submissions. After the competition concluded, we pivoted to helping Frederik promote his latest idea: PausePoint, an AI-powered assistant that screens out non-urgent messages to give you peace of mind.

Before and After:

Before

No idea competition. No submissions. No new startup.

After

350+ competition entrants. 1 new startup. X waitlist signups and counting.
